Prepared for Stories2Tell on behalf of TOTVS
Event: Universo TOTVS
Location: Expo Center Norte, São Paulo, Brazil
Dates: October 13–14, 2026
Featured Guest: Rishad Tobaccowala, author of Rethinking Work
TOTVS is looking for a moderator with a strong journalistic profile to interview Rishad Tobaccowala on stage at Universo TOTVS.
The ideal moderator should be well-versed in how work is being transformed by technological, demographic, and cultural changes, with the ability to lead a high-level conversation that feels timely, business-relevant, and engaging for a major technology and leadership audience.
This is not simply a facilitation role. With a guest like Rishad Tobaccowala, the moderator needs to bring editorial judgment, executive presence, live-stage command, and the ability to draw out insights that feel original, useful, and aligned with the scale of Universo TOTVS.
At this stage, the core deliverable is the on-stage interview with Rishad. Based on the anticipated event needs, the selected moderator may also be asked to support additional visibility opportunities while on-site, including internal and external media interviews, a promotional video connected to their participation, the official event podcast, and a possible smaller-format employee gathering at TOTVS headquarters.
Female names are being prioritized, and the current budget range is approximately $20,000–$25,000.

She brings exactly the blend TOTVS should prioritize for a mainstage conversation with Rishad Tobaccowala: award-winning journalism, international media credibility, live interview experience, bilingual and bicultural fluency, and the ability to make complex ideas about work, technology, culture, and leadership feel human, clear, and relevant.
For a major technology and business event featuring a globally respected thinker on the future of work, the moderator should not be treated as a secondary production role. The right interviewer can elevate the session, sharpen the audience takeaway, and turn the conversation into a signature event moment.
Mariana is that type of moderator.
Her background as a national news anchor and correspondent gives her the ability to ask sharp, timely questions. Her work as an author, media entrepreneur, and professional host gives her the range to connect with executives, employees, customers, media, and a broader public audience. She is also highly experienced in translating complex global themes into accessible stories that resonate across cultures.
Rishad Tobaccowala’s work centers on the need to rethink how organizations, leaders, and individuals approach work in an era shaped by AI, demographic shifts, cultural change, new employee expectations, and changing business models.
Mariana is especially well suited to guide this conversation because she can make those themes both strategic and personal. She can move the discussion beyond theory and into the real questions leaders are asking now.
Mariana’s strength is her ability to draw out the emotional and practical dimensions of big business ideas. That matters for this conversation. Rishad’s work is not just about technology or workplace trends; it is about how leaders, organizations, and people must rethink the way they operate.
Mariana can help TOTVS make that conversation more memorable, more accessible, and more valuable for the audience.
Mariana’s value becomes even stronger if TOTVS anticipates using the moderator beyond the single mainstage interview.
Because she is a seasoned journalist, media personality, and professional storyteller, Mariana would be especially effective for:
If TOTVS wants to maximize the presence of both Rishad and the moderator while they are on-site, Mariana brings a level of polish and media fluency that few moderators can match.
Mariana is a premium recommendation and will require flexibility beyond the current moderator budget.
That said, this is the type of opportunity where the moderator choice matters. With a featured guest like Rishad Tobaccowala, TOTVS should avoid a “good enough” moderator and instead secure someone who can protect and elevate the value of the session.
A stronger moderator does three things:
Mariana’s fee should be viewed in that context. She is not only moderating a conversation. She is helping TOTVS create a premium editorial moment around one of the event’s most important themes: the transformation of work.
Her value is especially compelling if TOTVS includes any combination of media interviews, podcast participation, promotional video capture, or an internal employee session. In that case, TOTVS would be gaining a journalist, host, interviewer, media personality, and strategic storyteller in one engagement.

Angelica Malin is a strong, budget-conscious recommendation for TOTVS if the priority is a polished professional moderator with live-event experience, high audience energy, and direct fluency in AI, technology, business, and future-of-work conversations.

She has hosted and moderated conferences, panels, and executive conversations for organizations including Infosys, EdgeVerve, Unilever, the United Nations, Global Trade Review, DPW, Appian, and others. Her experience spans AI, technology, procurement, finance, entrepreneurship, leadership, and business transformation.
For TOTVS, Angelica offers:
Angelica would be well matched to explore Rishad’s thinking around the transformation of work, particularly through the lens of AI, leadership, culture, and organizational change.
Angelica’s experience with AI and technology events makes her especially useful for a TOTVS audience. She can keep the discussion grounded in business reality while still allowing Rishad to explore broader cultural and human implications.
Angelica is best positioned as an international event moderator who brings structure, energy, and editorial clarity to high-level business conversations.
She is especially effective when an event needs more than someone to simply read questions from a card. She prepares deeply, understands the goals of the event, adapts in real time, and knows how to make a panel or interview feel alive for the audience.
Her moderation style is warm, direct, and highly engaged. She is known for creating a “living room” feel on stage while still keeping the conversation focused and useful.

Angelica’s strength is creating conversations that feel polished without feeling stiff.
She is an expert listener and is well-versed in the art of conversation, engaging both speakers and audiences. She brings a wealth of experience as an entrepreneur, writer, keynote speaker, journalist, and moderator, along with a strong instinct for asking the questions that bring out meaningful insights.
Her strengths include:
Angelica brings a high level of preparation and partnership to the events she supports.
Angelica is also well suited for additional on-site responsibilities, depending on final scope.
Potential add-ons could include:
Her background as both a journalist and professional event host makes her highly adaptable in a live-event environment.
Angelica is likely the stronger fit if TOTVS needs to stay close to the current $20,000–$25,000 budget range.
She offers the core assets TOTVS requested: a journalistic background, a professional moderator profile, experience with AI and technology conferences, strong stage presence, and the ability to support additional on-site content opportunities if included in the final scope.
